Let me explain our process.
A line is set at a specific number for one reason and one reason only,
TO ATTRACT EVEN MONEY ON BOTH SIDES OF THE SAME GAME!
The lines makers make the line based off of how they perceive the public to think. “Information” such as past stats & trends on teams and players has become so widely available to everyone on the internet, but that is actually hurting the player because all of this info flying around the web is the exact same info the lines makers use to make the line! So at the end of the day there really is no advantage to the player! At the line’s face value, each game is a coin flip which you the player must lay -110 either side you play meaning the “Juice” will grind you into the ground over time.
Here’s where we gain our advantages!
To come up with our selections, we constantly dig for bits & pieces of information that we confirm has not been factored into the lines makers thinking when making the number.
Whether it’s a slightly injured player that is going to play but we know he will not be even close to 100%, or we catch wind of college kids having problems whether academically or in their personal lives.
Realize there are upwards of 130 NCAAF teams on the big board with each team having at least a dozen players whose bad day on the field could totally sway a game. That’s about 1500 players! A lot of players for the lines makers to keep track of for intangibles!
So here’s the way it works,
Our Committee of Insiders get the “Opening Line” which comes out of Las Vegas prior to Game Day.
In football season the Opening Line comes out Sunday Night after completion of the days games for the following week’s games.
In basketball season The Opening Line comes out the night prior to tip off.
In football season, our committee spends the entire week gathering the best info from their particular information outlets.
With that intel we come up with what is known as “The A.S.I. Line" (American Sports Insiders Line).
This is the actual line we know should be set on each game, often times 4-6 points off of the actual line, and we base that on the finest information out there.
Then we take “The Opening Line”
(Which Remember Is Made To Attract Equal Action ONLY As Explained Earlier) and compare it to our A.S.I. Line and now take our plays that carry the biggest difference in point spreads from the actual line and our plays are set for release.
When you receive a play from A.S.I. you’re making a play backed with the best information and the line is always flawed in our favor before the game even starts!
Here’s The Bottom Line:
It’s not the other team we need to beat to cash, it’s the point spread we need to beat and nobody is equipped better to do just that then A.S.I.
